Through printmaking and mark-making in particular, my work became increasingly abstract. Also through my developing knowledge of CMYK colour separations, colour itself became a real focus of my practice.

Lace (Loop) was inspired by over-lapping, semi-transparent, layers of colour. Chance marks and textures, and also steam on glass, are present in my piece – Untitled (Shower) Variation.

Other works, such as Untitled (Doily) were from found materials, and the exploration of what you can pass through a press. 

Graffiti and chance marks by weathering also came into play with Green and Yellow variation screen prints.
