About
Welcome to the world of Titch Anstey Art – a realm where discarded objects find renewed purpose, where colours speak to the soul, and where art serves as a testament to the limitless possibilities of creative reimagination.
My art encapsulates my unique blend of creativity and innovation, transcending conventional boundaries of artistic expression. I instil fresh life into discarded objects that mirror the dynamic, ever-evolving nature of life itself with all its imperfections and beauty.
My practice is full of my energy and passion to create – it is self-perpetuating, driven by playfulness and experimentation. My work is rich in qualities born out of chance marks and found objects. I am guided by my fascination with colour, layering, collage and sculpting methods. Each piece embodies an exploration, a journey that resonates with the diverse emotional states of my experience.
My art and interests are in evolving my 2D prints into 3D forms. I use light and shadow, as well as varying levels of elevation, to add depth and dimension to my creations. This ability to construct intricate interplays between flatness and depth, between the seen and the unseen, creates a distinctive style.
I view the world through a lens of potential and regeneration. The materials I find and repurpose are not merely remnants of what was, but valuable elements of a story yet to be told. This commitment to transformation and reclamation imbues each piece with an authentic quality.
I love to discuss, explore and learn from other visual artists and from other forms of art and creativity. Please use my contact page to discuss my work, commissions and one-off pieces.
