The imagery came from photos I had taken around Brighton of graffiti, I zoomed in, and separated the colours using Photoshop. My concept was the quantity of plastic on the planet, and I wanted to make 2D prints appear more 3D. I added found plastics, that I had coloured with acrylic and heated. I also used flocking techniques to add rust into the images to give the idea of ageing through weathering and decay, with reference to the graffiti in the source images.
